I took this photograph in the Columbia River Gorge from a well loved nook in Washington in 2024. The dreaminess of the pastel purples, pinks and blues just melt me, and having such a zoomed out perspective of our planet feels like such a gift.

"Notes to Self/Healing Art" is a series of prints by Portland, Oregon artist Melissa Rachel Black (me!), which are meant to serve as a healing balm for the soul. 

Something that can remind you of your strength, joy, and ease, that you can walk by each day, or serve as a gift to someone to do the same.
