This image of a quiet fall forest was taken at Dabney State park in Corbett, Oregon in 2023. It was a stunningly peaceful scene that I'm unlikely to forget. I hope it can bring peace to your home as well. 

"Notes to Self/Healing Art" is a series of prints by Portland, Oregon artist Melissa Rachel Black (me!), which are meant to serve as a healing balm for the soul. 

Something that can remind you of your strength, joy, and ease, that you can walk by each day, or serve as a gift to someone to do the same. My secret wish is to help folks feel well, for their own sake because their happiness, health & joy matter. And, because when we feel well, we have the capacity to help heal others and our world.
